STORYTELLER//PERFORMER

BIO:
 
An accomplished singer and musician, Amy bases her sound within indie pop, folk, and the singer/songwriter genre. Telling stories is her life's vocation, and her songs are indicative of that. 
 
Amy grew up performing and touring in a family band across Canada performing for young audiences. Her father is a well-known Canadian children's performer, and her mother was a piano teacher. The King household was always alive with song, instruments, concerts and accompaniment. You could find her with headphones stuffed in her ears, creative fireworks in her mind, and constantly humming to help self soothe her anxious heart.
 
Vocally, Amy has experience in folk, country, musical theatre, jazz, R&B and pop. Currently she is part of the vintage vocal trio “Beauty Shop Dolls” that performs in venues all across Vancouver and the surrounding area. 
 
Her first single release is upcoming in October in 2023, with more music coming in 2024.
